Armor of Light Missionary Academy

"Preparing you for the mission field, God’s way."

The Armor of Light Missionary Academy was developed and continues to expand its ministry under the direction of a Board of Directors composed of selected elders from Holy Mountain Mission Corps, the Christian ministry which sponsors the school. It is the intention of the elders to fully prepare individuals for work in the specific field of mission to which God has called them.

Currently all academy students are sponsored by one of the congregations within Holy Mountain Mission Corps and are assigned an instructor/mentor who is selected from among the sitting elders. However, as time and resources allow the majority of the course work will be made available on-line for those requiring correspondence training.

Below is a list of courses currently available on-line. For information on times and locations for the entire curriculum, please contact the Board of Elders directly.

Hands On Training

One of the many great advantages to Armor of Light training is the hands on experience which students gain by going into the mission field under the constant and watchful eye of their mentor. At various times, groups of Armor of Light students have had the opportunity to get their feet wet (sometimes very litterally) in missions in more ways than one.

When the State of Indiana came to a stand still due to the lock down of the Blizzard of 2007, Armor of Light students in New Ross, Indiana mobilized to help widows and shutins in the community surrounding Guiding Light Bible Fellowship, the Church which was their sponsor at the time. Below is a picture of two of those students tking a break from the process of sharing Christ's love, or you can click the link to see how in January, 2008, the Armor of Light class sponsored by Seed of Abraham Teaching Ministry in Lafayette, Indiana joined the effort to assist flood victims along the Tippecanoe River.
